शिखर इन्स्योरेन्स कम्पनी लिमिटेडका कर्णाली प्रदेश प्रमुख गणेश प्रसाद जोशी र गाउँपालिका अध्यक्ष सिंहले गाउँपालिकाका सबै घरधुरीको वीमा गर्न सम्झौता पत्रमा हस्ताक्षर गरेका छन् । घरको मुल्याङ्कनका आधारमा वीमा रकम निर्धारण गरिने भएको छ । बार्षिक रुपमा गाउँपालिकाले वीमा कम्पनीलाई तिर्नु पर्ने न्युनतम वीमाशुल्क रु ५ सय ८७ रुपैया ६० पैसा भन्दा बढी वीमा शुल्क आएमा बाँकी वीमा शुल्क सम्बन्धीत घरधनीले तिर्ने ब्यवस्था गरिएको छ । महावै ३ नकु गाउँमा २०७७ साउनमा पहिरोले घरपुरिदा एकै घरपरिवारका ६ जनाको ज्यान गएको थियो । कालीकोटमा सबै घरधुरीको वीमा गर्ने महावै पहिलो गाउँपालिका हो ।
