कालीकोट– जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय कालीकोटले स्थानपना गरेको अध्ययन कक्षमा पुस्तक पढ्नको संख्या बढ्दै गएको छ । रातदिन जनताको सुरक्षामा खट्ने प्रहरी फुर्सदको समयमा अध्ययनमा व्यस्त हुने गरेको छन् । साहित्यमा रुचिराख्ने प्रहरी प्रमुख डीएसपी जयश्वर रिमालले प्रहरी र थुनुवामा सकारात्मक सोचको विकास गर्न, पढ्ने बानी बसाल्न आफ्नै कार्यकक्षमा अध्ययन कक्ष सुरु गरेका हुन् ।

डिएसपी रिमाललेका अनुसार थुनुवा, प्रहरी कर्मचारी र अध्ययनमा रुचि राख्ने पाठकले यसबाट लाभ लिन सक्ने छन् । बाल बिज्याइँ गरेर आएका बालबालिका, थुनामा परेका महिलाका लागि स्थापना गरिएको महिला तथा बालबालिका सेवा केन्द्रलाई व्यवस्थित बनाउने क्रममा ३८ हजार मुल्यबढीको किताब खरिद गरिएको डिएसपी रिमालले बताए । थुनुवाले जतिखेर पनि अध्ययन गर्न पाउने गरी समय तालिका बनाइएको छ ।

अध्ययन कक्षका लागी सहायक प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी सरोज अधिकारीले पनी केही थान पुस्तक सहयोग गर्नु भएको छ । प्रहरी कर्मचारीका लागि बिहान ८ बजेदेखि ९ बजेसम्म र बेलुकी ५ बजेदेखि ६ बजेसम्म अध्ययन समय तोकिएको छ ।

प्रहरीले सुरुवात गरेको कामको प्रशंसा गर्दै यहाँका स्थानीय तहले थप पुस्तक र पुस्तकालयका लागि आवश्यक फर्निचर लगायतका सामग्री सहयोग गर्ने वाचा गरेका छन् । ‘लेट्स रिड टुगेदर’ अर्थात ‘सँगसँगै पढौं’ भन्ने नाराका साथ सुरु गरिएको पुस्तकालय अवधारणा प्रहरीका लागि नयाँ भएकाले प्रहरी अध्ययनमा उत्सुक रहेको प्रहरी निरिक्षक तथा सूचना अधिकारी सुवराज बमले बताए ।

अहिले अध्यायन कक्षमा कालीकोटकै लेखक बुद्धिसागरको कर्नाली ब्लुज, फिरफिरे, नारायण वाग्लेको पल्पसा क्याफे, झमक घिमिरेको जीवन काँडा कि फूल, हरिवंश आचार्यको चिना हराएको मान्छे, सुविन भट्टराईको साया र समर लभ, पारिजातको शिरीषको फूल, अमर न्यौपानेको गुलाबी फूल, करोडौं कस्तुरी र सेतो धरती, सरस्वती प्रतीक्षाको नथिया, चन्द्रप्रकाश बानियाको महारानीलगायतका साहित्यिक पुस्तकहरु छन् ।

स्थानीय युवामा पढ्ने बानी बसाल्न जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले पुस्तकालय स्थापना गरेर पढ्न चाहनेलाई भपाँई गरेर किताब घर लैजान दिने गरेको छ ।
