कालीकोट जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय कालीकोटले शनिबार जिल्लामा चलाएको आकस्मीक अभियानले २ हजार ३ सय ७२ लिटर घरेलु मदिरा नष्ट गरेको छ । जिल्ला र जिल्ला मातहतका २६ वटा प्रहरी युनिटको सकृयतामा ८ सय ४६ लिटर तयारी घरेलु मदिरा र मदिरा बनाउन तयारी हालतमा राखिएको १ हजार ५ सय २६ लिटर कच्चापदार्थ प्रहरीले नियन्त्रणमा लिएर नष्ट गरेको हो । जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय कालीकोटका सूचना अधिकारी सुबराज बमका अनुसार यति ठुलो संख्यामा, एकै पटक प्रहरीले मदिरा नियन्त्रण यो पहिलो पटक हो ।

जिल्लाका सबै स्थानीयतह बाट एकै पटक एकै सयममा प्रहरीले पहिलो पटक चलाएको प्रहरी नायव उपरिक्षक जयश्वर रिमालले बताउनु भयो । बनाउन तयारी हालतमा राखिएको मदिरामा मानव स्वास्थ्यमा लागि हानिकारक बस्तुहरु समेत भएको रिमालले बताउनु भयो ।

सरकारले अबैधरुपमा उत्पादन गरिएको घरेलु मदिरा नष्ट गर्ने, शान्ती सुरक्षा कायम गर्ने लगायतका कार्यहरु गर्ने जिम्मेवारी तोकेकाले सोहि अनुसार घरेलु मदिरा नष्ट गरिएको प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी रामहरि शर्माले बताउनु भयो । शर्माले भन्नु भयो तत्काल स्थानीय तह निर्वाचन, प्रतिनिधि सभा र प्रदेश सभा निर्वाचन सम्पन्न गर्नु हाम्रो खुख्य दायित्व थियो । अब हामी स्थानीय स्थरमा भएका साना ठुला समस्याहरुको सुनुवाई तथा अबैध कार्यको नियन्त्रण गर्ने तयारी गरिरहेको छौं ।
