टाइफाइड बिरुद्धको खोप अभियानमा ९२.०२ प्रतिशत प्रगति
पलाँता- कालीकोट जिल्लामा टाईफाईड रोग विरुद्धको खोप अभियान २०८०/०८१ सफल भएको छ । १६ देखि ४५ वर्ष सम्मका उमेर समुहका नागरिकहरुको लागि कालिकोटका सम्पुर्ण पालिकामा पौष १२ देखि १८ गतेसम्म चलिरहेको खोप अभियानमा पलाँता स्वास्थ्य शाखाले ९२.०२ प्रतिशत प्रगति गरेको प्रतिवेदन सार्वजनिक गरेको छ ।
तोकिएको मितिभित्र खोप संचालन गरेपनि पलाँताजस्तो बिकट ठाउँमा थप तीन दिन थपेर पौष १७ गतेसम्म खोप लगाएको स्वास्थ्यकर्मी नबिना बम बताउँछन् । तोकेको समयावधि भित्र खोप लगाउन किन नसकिएको भन्ने प्रश्नमा बम भन्छिन् गाउँपालिका स्वास्थ्य शाखा, वडा र संबंधित स्वास्थ्य चौकीले बारम्बार सूचना गर्दापनी केहि नागरिकहरु कहाँ सूचना नपुगेपछी तिनदिन थप गरेर सडकका पेटि, बस स्टेसन र केहि संबंधित टोलमै पुगेर पालिकाको स्वास्थ्य शाखाको लक्ष पूरा गरेको बताउँछिन् ।
पलाँता गाउँपालिकामा रहेका ९ वटा वडामा २५ वटा खोप केन्द्रमा ४ हजार १ सय ४१ जनालाई खोप लागाएको स्वास्थ्य शाखा प्रमुख धनप्रसाद न्यौपानेले प्रगति प्रतिवेदन मार्फत सार्वजनिक गरेका छन् । पलाँता गाउँपालिकाको जनसंख्या १७ हजार भएपनि, जनसंख्याको तुलनामा खोप आकलन अत्यन्तै कम हो । तर स्वास्थ्य शाखाले लिएको लक्ष ४,५०० भएपनि ४,१४१ खोप लगाउनु राम्रो मेहनत हो । जसमा महिलालाई २,८१२ र पुरुषलाई १,३२९ लगाएको प्रतिवेदनमा उल्लेख गरिएको छ । पलाँता अस्पताल अर्थात वडा न.९ को रिपोर्टमा भने वडाको जनसंख्या हेर्दा अन्य वडाको तुलनामा बढि देखिएको छ ।
वडा न. ९ भित्र खोपको दायरा बढ्नुको कारण सोधपुछ गर्दा अस्मिता बटाला बताउछिन्, बजार क्षेत्र, बस स्टेसन र केही बाहिरका ब्यापारीहरुलाई पनि खोप लगाएकोले यहाँको जनसंख्याको केही तुलनात्मक रुपमा बढी खोप लागाएको देखिन्छ । त्यस्तै पलाँता गाउँपालिकामा पुरुषको तुलनामा महिलाले खोप लगाउने दोब्बरले बढी छ । यसमा महिला धेरै र पुरुष कम हुनुको कारण सोधपुछ गर्दा, अहिलेको सिजनमा कामदारको रूपमा भारत तिर जाने पुरुष नै बढी भएकोले महिलालाई खोपको अनुपात बढेको धौलागोह स्वास्थ्य चौकी इन्चार्ज बिनोद कुमार न्यौपाने बताउँछन् ।
